Advertisements That Work   [Greg Pollowitz]

S.E. Cupp had a piece on Wednesday critical of the Danica Patrick/GoDaddy.com Superbowl ads, calling them an "insult" to NASCAR fans. I don't disagree, but I am struck by how successful the ads have been.

For example, President ObamaJohn McCain, Scott Brown and Kirsten Gillibrand all used GoDaddy.com to register their domain names. Maybe there's a special GoDaddy.com government discount?

P.S. I'm not picking on these four, it's just that I got tired of searching the WhoIs database. I trust there are many more politicians and activist groups whose web teams have used GoDaddy as well.
