Personally, I like a governor who disappears to Buenos Aires for a few days with no explanation. And I can think of about 535 people in Washington I'd like to see disappear to Addis Ababa until ... whenever.
Sanford clearly seems enjoy exasperating the media. With a little work, he could reach Dick Armey levels of media maddening.
