NBC, VIDEOS

NBC Received Package From Va. Tech Shooter   [Stephen Spruiell]

MSNBC reporting now.

UPDATED AND BUMPED: NBC News went ahead and showed the video, and every other televsion news organization has followed suit. As I wrote here, I don't see why NBC News couldn't have waited at least a day to think harder about this decision. Just when the focus should be on remembering those whose lives Cho took, it's instead reverted back to this psychopath's deranged delusions.

NBC News analyst Clint Van Zandt told MSNBC's Tucker Carlson that he disagreed with MSNBC's decision to air the video, but moments later appeared on "NBC Nightly News" to discuss its contents, getting in a dig that getting his video on NBC News was the gunman's "ultimate victory":

In the age of YouTube, and with the help of NBC News, Cho's last words — an angry rant against the wealthy, the privileged, and basically anyone who wasn't an emotional cripple like himself — will be heard far and wide. Shouldn't NBC News have at least waited a day before making a decision of that magnitude?

Video here.
