Another Editor Heard From   [Kevin D. Williamson]

I'm not reading much of anything from editors who think the New York Times actually had the McCain story they think they had. Dena Bunis, writing for one of my favorite newspapers, scents sexism:

And what about using a picture of the lobbyist – Vicki Iseman — in an evening gown? If the story is about a lobbyist I doubt very much that she wears such a dress when she's on Capitol Hill talking to senators.... The fact that the paper played the sex angle so prominently is truly bothersome. What if the lobbyist McCain was close to was male?
