I’m so glad you asked. My life hasn’t been affected by global warming yet, but if news organizations like yours are successful in your campaign to convince the public that the only way to avoid a major climate crisis is through economically disastrous emissions reductions, my life will be affected greatly. So when you’re putting together your report on the results of this scavenger hunt for imaginary signs of global warming, please note my suggestion that the most alarming sign of all is the willingness of the news media to abandon science and reason in order to sow fear, boost ratings, and advocate bad public policy.
