Where's HuffPo on Edwards? [Greg Pollowitz]
The National Enquirer story on John Edwards is in full MSM blackout (though Byron York has now covered it for The Hill), which is understandable to a point, but there's absolutely nothing on it on the Huffington Post. This is pretty odd considering it was HuffPo reporter Sam Stein who got the ball rolling with his stories on the mystery woman back in September and October 2007. The Enquirer didn't go with its version of the story until December 2007.
As for the blackout, the Enquirer has an update today that suggests the story might actually get reported:
* Edwards has not explained his whereabouts to any members of other news media outlets who have been trying to follow up on the story.
